Graduated magna cum laude at the University of Milan in 1961.

Admitted to the Bar (Milan, Italy) since 1963.

Admitted to practice before the Italian Supreme Court since 1978.

Remo Danovi developed and expanded the Firm founded by his father Sandro.

Practice areas: Civil and Professional Liability Law, Professional Ethics, Arbitration Law, Banking Law, Contract Law, Bankruptcy Law, Labour Law.

Member (starting from 1994), vice-president (1997-2002) and president (2002-2004) of the National Bar Council,since 1990 he has been part of the Italian delegation to the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), which he also has been called to lead.

Member and secretary for a long time of the Milan Bar Council, he served as its president from 2015 to 2019.

Since 1989, for about twenty years, Remo Danovi has been Professor of Forensic system and professional ethics at the University of Milan and, because of his acknowledged expertise in such fields, he led the drafting of the Code of Conduct for Italian Lawyers, adopted in 1997.

He published several monographs on the matter, which have been also translated into various languages, together with  articles and papers on banking and bankruptcy law.
